In-person Circle

£14.50

Gathering together

Our circles are intimate and limited to 8 attendees per circle/event. We provide and guide a gentle space where you can slow down and connect with yourself, other women and the natural world.

During our circles we reflect on the moon cycle and the season that is present as we gather. We honour seasonal transitions in relation to the Celtic calendar that take place during the year; at the Equinox’s, Solstices and Cross Quarter Points (the four fire festivals).

We can struggle to hear our own inner wisdom, often looking outside ourselves for answers, for our truth, the noise of our busy world can drown out our own inner voice. Circle is a place where you are welcome no matter how you are in the moment and creates a space where you can speak and share without another attempting to fix or give advice to you but instead be deeply listened too and witnessed in your truth.

Our circles follow a structure of beautiful simplicity:

  • We begin with an introduction, we will guide us through a short grounding meditation to bring us into the space together which will include a little on what to expect.

  • Everyone is given an invitation to share their voice with the circle through a simple question guided by us.

  • Next we are guided into a meditation, to help us feel into what we wish to give voice to on that day.

  • The open sharing will then begin. There will be no pressure to share or speak, we welcome silence too.

  • After final reflections we will close the circle together

This circle is for women over 18 years old. Mothers with babies in arms/non-crawling are very welcome to join us.

How are Women's Circle's different to other gatherings?

  • In Circle we do not give advice or try to fix each other.

  • We give space for the person sharing and do not interrupt anyone.

  • We are considerate to all who sit with us in circle and are mindful when sharing so everyone is given the space to share if they wish to.

  • We acknowledge a persons share with silence. We like to place our hands on our heart space to acknowledge that they have been heard when it has come to the end of their sharing. This can often feel strange at first, to not respond verbally but it can feel very powerful for the person who has shared.

  • Circles are non-hierarchical, we guide and hold the space but the circle experience is collaborative, it’s each woman’s unique essence and energy that creates the circle experience, through both the sharing and/or listening. Therefore no two circles are the same.

  • We are not trained counsellors/therapists although the space can feel 'theraputic'

  • We are CPD trained (through Sister Stories) in facilitating Women's Circles

  • Everything shared within the circle is confidential and not to be shared with others.

  • We like to keep our circles small and intimate so we limit the number of tickets we offer (between 6-8).

  • Circle is a gentle space and we cannot allow anyone to attend who is intoxicated.
